What Is the Defence Industry Forum?

The WCDIA Defence Industry Forum is a new mastermind-style program designed exclusively for WCDIA members. This initiative brings together industry experts and defence sector professionals for meaningful conversations, practical learning, and peer-driven problem-solving.

How the Sessions Work

A monthly virtual forum includes:

1. Expert Insight (40min)

   • A guest speaker from the defence, aerospace, cyber, innovation, or procurement ecosystem shares lessons learned, strategies, and practical insights.

2. Peer Roundtable (1.20 Hour)

   • Members raise issues, ask questions, and learn from each other in a collaborative and confidential environment. (no Competitors)

   • This is a space for honest dialogue and shared experience, designed to help members grow, innovate, and strengthen Western Canada’s defence ecosystem.

3. Schedule

   • Monthly Virtual Session starts

     • 7:00 AM Pacific 8:00 AM Mountain 9:00 AM Central

4. Begins:  

   • September 9/10, 2026

5. Registration

   • Commitment Fee: $300 - ($200.00 Refund after Completion of all Forums.)

6. Eligibility

   • WCDIA members only

   • Signed Non‑Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

   • Participation Commitment Letter
